After yet another successful year, Net Entertainment has published its 2014 annual report. The report covers the period from January 1st until December 31st, 2014.
2014 Summary of NetEnt's Successful Initiatives
Net Entertainment had a sales growth of 35 percent, and an operating margin of 30.7 percent. The company's 2014 revenues totaled SEK 851,662,597. Net Entertainment's operating profit has increased, as have the earnings per share. The distribution to shareholders has risen substantially when compared to 2012, and 2013.
In the first quarter, a number of agreements were entered into including the agreement with GameAccount Network that would bring NetEnt into the regulated Italian market. NetEnt launched the Aliens slot game, and won the Innovator of the Year award at the International Gaming Awards.
The second quarter came with a number of other agreements including those with Betfair and bwin.party. The company won the Digital Gaming Innovation of the Year award at the Global Gaming Awards in Las Vegas, along with the Leader of the Year award at the Women in Gaming Awards.
The third quarter brought agreements with the Rational Group for Full Tilt Poker, and with William Hill. The Hall of Gods jackpot was hit for 7.4 milion Euro. The company won another three awards at the eGaming Review B2B Awards for 2014.
The fourth quarter came with a number of licensing agreements, along with the first ever NetEnt game that was developed entirely in HTML5 for both desktop and mobile users, The Invisible Man.
