While NetEnt awaits a New Jersey gaming license, the digital entertainment company has already begun to secure agreements with casinos in the Garden State. NetEnt and Caesars Interactive Entertainment have inked a deal. This new agreement follows close on the heels of the agreement reached between NetEnt and Borgata.
NetEnt's Agreement with Caesars Interactive
NetEnt's deal with Caesars Interactive Entertainment in New Jersey will have NetEnt provide content for the New Jersey casino brand. Caesars Interactive Entertainment operates in New Jersey and in other US states as one of the biggest mobile and social gaming brands in the US.
NetEnt will be providing its top quality suite of casino games for both the desktop platform and for a mobile platform. To begin with, this offering will be available to players via CaesarsCasino.com, the gaming operator's online presence in New Jersey.
The Managing Director of NetEnt America LLC, Björn Krantz, had the following to say regarding the new deal: "We are excited to have partnered with CIE [Caesars Interactive Entertainment] for the districution of our best-in-class multichannel online casino games for the New Jersey market. I am confident that our games will be well received by players, and that our efforts to provide players with the ultimate gaming experience will support CIE's strategy to build sustainable long-term online casino growth."
While this agreement has been signed, it can only come into effect when NetEnt is granted its New Jersey gaming license. At this time, NetEnt is waiting for approval for a full gaming license. With deals already in place with casino operators, NetEnt will be able to move directly into the market when the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement grants the gaming solutions provider with a license.
The Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer of CIE, Marco Ceccarelli, said: "CIE strives to offer its customers in New Jersey a diverse selection of the highest quality gaming content, and the inclusion of NetEnt's titles in our portfolio provides us with another opportunity to deliver superior value to our players."
