NetEnt has recently signed a number of agreements with gaming operators in New Jersey. To add to the list of New Jersey contracts, NetEnt and Resorts Casino have now signed an agreement.
NetEnt to Provide Online Gaming Solutions to Resorts Casino
The agreement between NetEnt and Resorts Casino will have NetEnt provide both online desktop games, and mobile games to Resorts Casino as well as Mohegan Sun. This deal is yet another important US gaming deal for NetEnt.
Although Mohegan Sun is based in Uncasville, Connecticut, the casino has a licensing cooperation with Resorts Casino in New Jersey, and offers online gaming in New Jersey. Mohegan Sun is one of the biggest casinos operating in the United States.
NetEnt is currently awaiting a full gaming license from the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement. While it is fully expected that NetEnt will be granted its gaming license in the US state, the process takes some time. The Division of Gaming Enforcement has granted NetEnt transactional waivers for some of its other New Jersey gaming agreements. The transactional waivers have allowed NetEnt to integrate its quality gaming product with the approved operators, and launch real money games in New Jersey. NetEnt is expected to apply for a transactional waiver for the Resorts Casino and Mohegan Sun deal.
Björn Krantz, the Managing Director of NetEnt Americas LLC, has commented on the deal with Resorts Casino, saying: “I am very pleased that we have entered into this partnership with Resorts Casino, and the agreement shows the trust and confidence that exist in our local operational and portfolio capabilities in New Jersey. I am sure that Resorts Casino, Mohegan Sun Casino and their respective players will appreciate and enjoy the fantastic player experience that our games offer.”
The President and Chief Executive Officer of Resorts Casino Hotel, mark Giannantonio, said: “We are delighted to be adding the NetEnt games to our portfolio of content. The games perform extremely well in other markets and we are confident that they will do the same in New Jersey. It has been a really exciting few weeks for Resorts Digital Gaming’s business and the addition of these games will only strengthen our product offering further .”
NetEnt Americas LLC is subsidiary of NetEnt AB. The digital gaming company began creating online games in 1996, and has expanded into a number of markets around the world. NetEnt has more than 700 employees, and offices in the United States, Stockholm, Malta, Kiev, Gibraltar, and Gothenburg.
