NetEnt Goes Live in New Jersey

There has been much excitement this week as NetEnt has gone live in New Jersey. Online casino players playing through Borgata’s online gaming site will now have access to some of the best games from NetEnt’s extensive games list.

NetEnt Launches Real Money Games in the US

In June this year, NetEnt had inked agreements with both Borgata and bwin.party in New Jersey. At the beginning of September, although NetEnt had not been granted a full gaming license in the Garden State, NetEnt did receive a transactional waiver from the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement. Although NetEnt has yet to be granted the full New Jersey licensing in the form of the Casino Service Industry Enterprise License, the company is able to move ahead with its offerings.

After the transactional waiver was granted, NetEnt had the go-ahead to ready its product for market. With a number of steps, including agreements with New Jersey casinos already in place, it was anticipated that players would soon be able to enjoy NetEnt games.

NetEnt has completed the integration of its software into Borgata’s online site, and is in the process of doing the same for bwin.party’s New Jersey site. When the bwin.party site is fully integrated, players will be able to choose NetEnt games from both these operators. Borgata is offering a selection of NetEnt’s best-in-breed multichannel games for the launch, and will have additional games added over time.

The move into real money gaming in the Unites States is a big step forward for NetEnt Americas LLC. Björn Krantz, the Managing Director of NetEnt Americas, commented on the new development: “I am delighted to be live with Borgata online casino in New Jersey, and it marks a fantastic milestone achievement for NetEnt. I am confident that our games will offer Borgata’s player community the very best gaming experience. Through our extensive experience and knowledge within the field of online casino gaming, we will work closely with Borgata and the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement with the aim to responsibly drive the online casino market forward.”

Per Eriksson, the Chief Executive Officer of NetEnt, added: “We’ve focused on establishing our footprint in North America and our goal was set to be live during the second half of this year. I’m very pleased that we have delivered on our promise, and excited to follow and act on market opportunities going forward.”
