On September 30th, NetEnt went live in New Jersey with Borgata. Now that the digital software provider has completed an integration period, NetEnt is now live with its second New Jersey operator, bwin.party.
NetEnt Live at bwin.party in New Jersey
NetEnt was granted a transactional waiver by the New Jersey Division of Gaming. The transactional waiver has been granted while the gaming regulator continues the process of investigating the gaming software provider ahead of licensing. It is expected that NetEnt will soon be granted a full gaming license in New Jersey. The transactional waiver is somewhat like a pre-approval ahead of full licensing.
The transactional waiver, granted on September 1st, 2015, gave NetEnt the go-ahead to integrate and launch its games with two of the gaming operators that it had already signed agreements with in the Garden State. NetEnt launched its first United States real money gaming offering with Borgata at the end of September, and now, almost two weeks later, the company has launched its games with bwin.party in New Jersey.
NetEnt has not released its entire games suite at this time. To begin with, the company has launched some of its top quality favorites to kick-start its introduction in New Jersey. Instead of inundating players with an overwhelming choice, the software provider is giving players the chance to enjoy and appreciate a few games at a time. Since the gaming demographic in all countries is difference, NetEnt will be able to assess which games are the most well-received in New Jersey, after which the company can select another batch of games appropriate New Jersey players.
Björn Krantz, the Managing Director of NetEnt Americas LLC, commented on the launch with bwin.party. He said: “I am very pleased that we are now live with a selection of our multichannel games for desktop and mobile with bwin.party in New Jersey. This launch marks yet another milestone achievement towards our objective to drive the online casino market forward together with our partners in New Jersey.
New Jersey is one of three US states that has legalized online gaming. The other two states are Nevada and Delaware. At this time, NetEnt’s real money games are only available to players in New Jersey.
