Record Revenues for NetEnt in 2015

NetEnt has released its year-end report for 2015, along with its quarterly report for the October to December 2015 period. The digital gaming company experienced remarkable growth, showing record revenues for NetEnt in 2015.

NetEnt’s 2015 Year-End Report

In 2015, NetEnt revenues increased by 33% up to SEK 1,132.4 million. The company’s operating profit increased by 53.5% up to SEK 401.6 million. Profit after tax increased by 53.8% up to an impressive SEK 374.0 million.

Last year, NetEnt signed 43 new license agreements, and launched 37 new casinos for customers. In the fourth quarter, NetEnt had launched games in the United States by agreements with casinos in New Jersey, along with inking new agreements with Gamesys US for Tropicana. In Spain, games were launched with Codere, and in the United Kingdom, games were launched with Gala Coral. In 2015, NetEnt won the EGR Operator Awards prize for the Game of the Year in London.

Per Eriksson, President and Chief Executive Officer of NetEnt spoke about the fourth quarter of 2015: “The fourth quarter featured many new signed and launched customers, and strong growth. Revenues increased by 34.0 percent to 323.1 MSEK and operating profit rose by 51.6 percent to 121.8 MSEK, compared to last year. The operating margin was 37.7 percent in the fourth quarter, the highest level since the beginning of 2010. The number of game transactions in our systems increased by 34.4 percent to 8.2 billion, which means that in 2015, we handled a total of 27.7 billion transactions.

NetEnt’s CEO Comments

Per Eriksson commented on the outstanding year-end report. He said: “2015 was yet another fantastic year for NetEnt. Continued growing demand for digital casino entertainment and for our products helped us reach new record levels in terms of revenues, results and cash flow.

Eriksson noted that NetEnt is on track for its long-term strategy to continue profitable growth, offering new products, breaking into new markets, and increasing its customer base. At the same time that NetEnt is launching its products with new operators, it is continuing to maintain steady growth with existing customers.

The CEO emphasized the importance of customer satisfaction, saying: “Customer satisfaction is the foundation for our long-term growth and our approach is to have a business partner mindset for shared success. In our annual customer survey, 99 percent of all our customers expressed that NetEnt has a top reputation in the industry.

Eriksson said that he expects “continued strong growth in 2016” that will be supported both by its increased market share in the United Kingdom, along with the upcoming NetEnt launches in the United States.
