After having completed last year’s financial reports, NetEnt’s 2015 Annual Report is now available ahead of the Annual General Meeting that will take place in three weeks. The digital entertainment company has had another good year with operating profits up by 53.5%.
NetEnt Shows Huge Revenue Increase in 2015
The total number of NetEnt’s active customers by the end of 2015 exceeded 130 customers. In 2015, NetEnt signed new licensing agreements with 43 customers. During the year, 37 customers’ casinos were launched. 14 of the new customers were signed with in the fourth quarter, which included important agreements in New Jersey with Gamesys/Tropicana and Resorts Casino. In New Jersey, there were three new customers’ that launched NetEnt games in the last quarter with the company’s games going live with Golden Nugget, Resorts Casino, and Caesars Interactive.
Revenues and operating profits have risen steadily over the past six years, with an extra increase this year. In 2010, NetEnt’s revenues reached MSEK 368. In 2014, revenues were already up to MSEK 852. With the positive financial year for NetEnt in 2015, revenues have increased to MSEK 1,132.
Per Eriksson, the President and Chief Executive Officer of NetEnt commented on the 2015 year end results. He said: “2015 was yet another fantastic year for NetEnt. Continued growing demand for digital casino entertainment and for our products helped us reach new record levels in terms of revenues, profits and cash flow. The fourth quarter featured many new signed and launched customers, and strong growth. Revenues increased by 34.0 percent to 323.1 MSEK and operating profit rose by 51.6 percent to 121.8 MSEK, compared to last year. We see good conditions for continued strong growth in 2016 supported by growing market shares in the UK, a large pipeline of signed customers yet to be launched, mobile growth and the expansion in North America.”
NetEnt has Won a Number of Awards
NetEnt also won some prestigious awards for its work in 2015. In January 2016, the gaming software provider won the Casino Content Supplier award at the EGR Nordic Awards ceremony. Following the Guns N’ Roses release, NetEnt won the Slot Provider of the Year in February at the International Gaming Awards. At the Gaming Intelligence Awards that took place in London, NetEnt won the Casino Solutions Provider of the Year.
