NetEnt and Project Coin Machine Ltd. have formed a partnership. The digital gaming software developer has agreed to a licensing agreement with the independent games creator, Project Coin Machine, a gaming company that is based in London, UK.
Project Coin Machine to Release Gonzo’s Quest
The licensing agreement between NetEnt and Project Coin Machine will give the UK-based company the opportunity to license some of NetEnt’s games. Project Coin Machine releases a new game every eight weeks. To begin with, the licensing partnership with NetEnt will have a new casino game available on the Project Mi Games platform. The first game that will be picked is the popular Gonzo’s Quest video slot.
Gonzo’s Quest is a game set in 16th century Spain and is based on Gonzalo Pizzaro, a Spanish conqueror. The game offers players some of the regular bonus features that we have come to expect from slots, along with the special avalanche reels feature.
Tony Boulton, the Project Coin Machine Managing Director, commented on the new partnership with NetEnt. He said: “NetEnt is one of the most successful brands in the digital space and has a portfolio of games which boast high levels of awareness and recall.”
Boulton further noted: ”Whilst the movement of players is most commonly seen as being from bricks and mortar gaming to online, we want to approach this licensing agreement as an opportunity to attract and engage with NetEnt’s loyal community of desktop and mobile players but in a bricks and mortar environment. We recognize the imperative of keeping our product offering relevant to a generation of players which is both agile and mobile and NetEnt, which has a catalogue of top performing and recognizable content, is an ideal partner.
