NetEnt is primarily known as a gaming company that provides games and software for the online and mobile industries. The focus in gaming software has recently been on online and mobile games. There are, however, some companies that make games that can be compatible for all platforms. NetEnt has signed a deal with Paddy Power for the UK retail market.
NetEnt Games to be Available in UK Retail Market
The deal between NetEnt and Paddy Power is a licensing agreement by which Paddy Power will be able to offer NetEnt games in its land-based locations in the United Kingdom. The two entities already have an established partnership regarding games distribution. This extended agreement will allow Paddy Power to offer NetEnt games in over 1,300 gaming machines around the UK. Paddy Power currently operates 339 Licensed Betting Offices in land-based locations around the country.
Enrico Badamante, the NetEnt Malta Ltd Managing Director, and the Chief of European Market Operations, commented on the new deal. He said: “I am very pleased that we are extending our partnership with Paddy Power to include distribution to gaming machines in their betting shops. I am confident that their players will enjoy our thrilling, award-winning games.”
